About the Plane
We decided to give Hurricane P3351 a “new identity”. Following its restoration, the aircraft will carry the camouflage scheme and code markings of the famous Hurricane P3143. This aircraft served with No. 310 (Czechoslovak) Squadron RAF under the code NN-D.
When the decision was made to bring a Hurricane back to Točná, very few people knew about the project. Information about it only came to light after more than a year of work.
The aircraft has a rich history — both as an individual airframe and through the markings and camouflage scheme in which we have restored it.
